Safety Procedures
Safety First! When installing, operating or maintaining the equipment, always use proper safety procedures in accordance with local laws and regulations.
- Always use qualified personnel and electricians for installation, maintenance and servicing. Electrical connections only by certified electricians. Operating a blower without proper grounding can cause personal injury or death.
- Always disconnect power at the circuit breaker or fuse box before working on the motor or blower assembly. Follow lockout/tagout procedures.
- Always wear safety glasses. Workers near operating blowers should always wear hearing protection per OSHA regulations.
- Never operate the motor/blower assembly without the belt guard properly installed, or with the blower inlet unprotected by a filter element assembly.
- Never operate the motor/blower assembly with the discharge outlet open. Always connect the outlet to system piping or a control valve — running unloaded causes high current draw and damages the motor and electrical system.
- Always keep hands, tools, long hair, loose clothing, neckties, jewelry and similar items away from all moving or rotating parts.
- Use caution with water-cooled units — the blower head operates at high temperature and the outer surface can burn on contact.
- Always install motor current protectors (3-phase), circuit breakers or fuses sized per motor nameplate data.
Replacement-Parts Schedule
Minimum replacement frequency for genuine Nopassy parts in two-shift and three-shift operations.

Replace the filter when pressure loss exceeds 25 mbar or when performance drops. Replacement frequency depends on the working environment and atmospheric conditions. Always use genuine Nopassy parts to keep the 24-month warranty valid.
