Industry Applications
Eight fields where Nopassy blowers and air-knife systems are the preferred choice of engineers and procurement teams worldwide.
Aquaculture Aeration
Roots blowers and high-pressure blowers deliver dissolved oxygen for fish and shrimp ponds, with 24/7 continuous-duty capability. Energy-efficient models cut electricity cost for the long pump-run hours typical of fish-farm duty cycles.
Bottle & Can Drying
Spider Arm air-knife system reaches under and around every container — 60,000 BPH, with 1/3 the energy of compressed-air systems and 1/2 of high-pressure blower systems. Used in spirits, wine, beverage, mineral-water and canning lines.
PCB / Film / Coating Drying
Aluminum-alloy air knives deliver continuous ±5% precision airflow to remove moisture from circuit boards, plated films and coated sheets without damage. Pairs with high-pressure blowers.
Glass Cleaning
Stainless steel air knives paired with ultrasonic cleaning lines remove water and detergent film from glass sheets in a single pass, at air speeds up to 400 m/s.
Textile & Fabric
Super Air-Knife systems on coating lines and drying frames reduce compressed-air consumption by 36% versus conventional gas-proof curtains. Quiet operation suits in-line workstations.
Paper & Pulp
Coanda Effect air knives blow off dust, dirt and solvent residues from paper sheets. Aluminum-alloy knives dry freshly coated paper at high line speeds.
Food Processing & Packaging
Stainless-steel (SUS304 / medical-grade SUS316) air knives meet food-grade requirements for drying fruits, vegetables, packages and conveyor lines.
Electroplating & Surface Treatment
Pre-treatment air rinsing and post-plating drying on continuous electroplating lines. SUS316 knives resist acidic and alkaline fumes.

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions engineers ask when specifying, installing and servicing Nopassy blowers.
Which blower for fish-pond aeration?
Roots blowers (oil-free) or side-channel blowers are industry standard. Pond depths up to 2 m: select 2.2–5.5 kW. Deeper ponds or raceways: Roots blower rated to 50 kPa with fine-bubble diffusers to maximize oxygen transfer efficiency.
Can I use one blower for multiple applications?
Yes, with manifold piping. Each branch needs its own butterfly valve or pressure regulator to balance airflow. Total airflow must not exceed the blower's free-air delivery at the combined pressure.
How do I select between Roots and centrifugal for pneumatic conveying?
Roots for short distances (< 50 m), low-to-medium pressure (up to 50 kPa), pellet/granule materials. Multistage centrifugal for long-distance dilute-phase conveying or when energy efficiency is a priority (typically 25–30% more efficient than Roots).
What blower for a printing-press air-knife?
Side-channel (regenerative) blower — typically 4–7.5 kW single-stage, delivering 200–400 m³/h at 20–30 kPa. Enough for a 2–3 m air-knife on a web offset press, and quiet (≤ 75 dBA) for indoor installation.
